Correction! I originally used numbers I collected for 2008 and 2009 for this post. Theses are the updated sales numbers for 2009 to 2010.34 Lincoln Park single family homes sold third quarter 2010 in Lincoln Park (July 1st to September 30th) for a median price of $1,260,000. The median price is down 16% from third quarter 2009 when 43 homes sold for a median price of $1,500,000.
Normally, you'd think the low interest rates on jumbo loans may help the average million dollar buyer STRETCH for that more expensive home.
On the other hand, the $8,500,000 sale in Lincoln Park this third quarter was a cash deal... so there you go.
