Doing a little condo research this evening for a client in Lincoln Square. I looked at closings and pending contracts for the past 6 months for mid-range to upper end condos and town homes priced from $250,000 and up. The highest closed condo was $508,000 and only 23 of closed or pending condos $250,000 to $508,000 were above $400,000.
What's a bit surprising is only nine condos over $250,000 in the Lincoln Square community area are currently under contract or pending. Although, not a particularly condo crazy Chicago community area in general, there are still 107 listed condos/town homes for sale priced from $250,000 and up. Nine under contract... Bueller?
