Two major developments in Lincoln Park, Chicago

Today, YoChicago.com reports on the latest plans for the renovation of Lincoln Park Hospital buildings at the prime corner of North Lincoln Ave. and West Webster Ave. The mixed use development would feature much appreciated and well located senior housing among retail and condos. A "fresh market" featured in the site rendering would be a total hit here! I would also think hotel units would be a good fit here.

We also posted about the official listing of the Children's Memorial Hospital for sale. This much anticipated parcel of land will be a blockbuster achievement of re-development. Oh how the North Lincoln Avenue landscape in Lincoln Park will change! Will the culture of many bars, small restaurants and entertainment venues change along the popular strip with two huge new developments?
