Old Town School of Folk Music construction update in Lincoln Square

Old Town School of Folk Music expansion late summer

The Old Town School of Folk Music expansion project continues to change the Lincoln Square landscape.  There has been little new commercial construction along Lincoln Avenue north of Montrose.  However, the Old Town building towers over it's mixed use neighbors. 















Just north of the Old Town School new construction is the new modern cladding of Lincoln Square Athletic Club at Lincoln Avenue and Leland Ave...a recently completed renovation of the old Northern Home Furnishings store.  I think the store (where I've purchased bed sets, consoles and lamps) would have looked great in this wrapping as well!

The new Lincoln Square Athletic Club was completed late summer

It's a new Lincoln Square with more resources and activities for everyone than almost any neighborhood I can imagine.
