2012 seems to be on a good pace for increased condo and town house sales in Lincoln Park. Lets see how things are going.
13 town houses have closed in the first two months of 2012 (January 1-February 29). This is on pace with 2011 that also closed 13 town homes in the first two months. The median price is up about $190,000 (30%) to $790,000 over the median price of sales in the same period 2011.
Currently, there are 37 town homes under contract in Lincoln Park.
The highest town house closing this year so far was 805 W Belden at $1,225,000. The lowest town home sale was 1781 W Altgeld for $312,000. This location is west of Ashland Ave and stretches what people conceive as Lincoln Park. None of the closed town houses this year were designated as foreclosures or short sales.
