The Winnemac Park Neighbors are proud to join with the Lincoln Square North Neighbors in hosting Alderman Patrick O’Connor of the 40th Ward and Alderman Ameya Pawar of the 47th Ward at a joint meeting next week.
Our two block clubs represent the area of the 47th ward that is being redistricted into the 40th ward, and this is a great opportunity to have both aldermen join us simultaneously. The aldermen will be discussing issues relevant to our communities including the recent ward map changes, initiatives to improve our local schools, and thoughts on economic improvements in our community. There will also be a Q & A opportunity with both aldermen.
Join us on Tuesday, July 10th at 6:30pm in the Amundsen H.S. library (enter the center door / main entrance on Damen Ave, and the Library is immediately on your left). Meet your aldermen and neighbors.
