Rare possible condo conversion in great Boystown, Lakeview location

We were showing in East Lakeview this week and came across a rare gutted vintage building at West Roscoe and North Elaine Place (a location denoted by these awesome giraffe sculptures).  This block of Roscoe can also be considered the heart of Boystown.

Construction is well underway at 673-675 West Roscoe on this classic center entrance walk-up.  There are no listings posted on the MLS yet but we'd guess this type of building would be a condo development rather than rental apartments.  The units to the east overlooking the play-lot will get rare exposure for a middle block building.

The Wendt Play-lot is adjacent to the east.
