Chase Park "Sports Bash" a home run!

We spent last Sunday afternoon at a really great event at Chase Park.  The Back-to-School Sports Bash featured a well rounded schedule of sports and activities.  We Got Game and the Chase Park Advisory Council did an excellent job hosting and running the schedule.

The event featured theater class, face-painting, kids fitness challenges, "Language Stars", scooter skills and more.

Aldermans Ameya Pawar, James Cappleman, Representative Greg Harris, Margaret O'Connor (Vice President Chase Park Advisory Council) and Park Supervisor Katie Fearon-Peon greeted attendees and said a few words.  It's amazing what Chase park has done with programming and community support in the last a few years.
