As the kids get older we find ourselves "rediscovering" more and more things around the city. About a week ago we caught the always competitive
Blue Demons Women's Basketball team at
McGrath- Phillips Arena 2323 North Sheffield Avenue, Chicago, IL 60614 on the
DePaul Campus of
Lincoln Park.
It's a high quality inexpensive sports production in your backyard. Easy to get to (CTA Red Line at Fullerton, walk, cab) and great for the kids. We're sort of a "basketball" family. Having several local big time college programs near by the house is a real benefit to living in the city.

median price was about $1.5 million. The highest sold home was a 2004 luxury house at 2036 N Kenmore that sold in a foreclosure sale for about $4.5 million cash.
