Report: Lakeview Wal-Mart Express to close

Pictured is 2844 N Broadway Wal-Mart.  Alderman and DNAInfo.com are reporting the Wal-Mart Express concept at 3636 N Broadway St in Lakeview is closing down (among many other stores "around the world").

The Lakeview Wal-Mart will close.  Long live Walmart! I've heard some positives about the cheap goods available. However,  I prefer a traditional Jewel Store (3531 N Broadway) or Mariano's type concept personally.   A new Mariano's is coming to 3030 North Broadway just up the street.

We work with a lot of clients living in this immediate area and we are very interested in the coming and going of retail and residential developments.
